Hi I'm Steph and I am a self-taught creator of gorgeous handcrafted jewellery.

I'm married to Mark who supports me in my venture, he's great with spreadsheets and helps me to do all things tech as I am definitely a bit of a tech phobe, oh and my gemstone obsession in check. 😄  I'm also a mum to 3 children who make me proud to be a part of their lives every single day. 

I definitely got my love of jewellery from my mum. Mum would always make any outfit look special with a well-chosen statement piece. I began making jewellery when my mum passed away, she had lots of fashion jewellery that perhaps wasn’t quite my style. So I started taking some of the beads and making other pieces from it. I found I really enjoyed crafting new jewellery, usually in the evening when the children are in bed. I now create stunning gemstone jewellery that I know my mum would be proud to wear.

I really love handcrafting unique pieces, it makes me feel truly happy, hence the name made with love.

My pieces are inspired and energised by the natural beauty of the world around me, as I have always felt connected to nature. I am often influenced by family trips to the seaside and woodland parks. My photo library is full of gorgeous flowers such as blossom, roses and peonies as well as majestic trees that motivate and encourage me to create gorgeous pieces of jewellery and are the inspiration for my tree of life pendants.

My love of gemstones has been apparent since early teens. I really enjoy making sure that I source the best of quality from reputable retailers who ethically source their gemstones. 

I've also looked into and researched great quality silver and source and use the highest quality Sterling Silver,  as well as fine silver that is hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant.

I often undertake new silversmithing courses to develop new skills and techniques which is a great deal of fun. I love meeting new people and sharing my passion for handmade gemstone jewellery and love to see what other people design and make.
